Pasha Hawaii fleet receives 2022 Environmental Achievement Awards from the Chamber of Shipping of America

Honolulu, HI-based Pasha Hawaii has announced that its fleet in the Hawaii/Mainland trade was recognized with Certificates of Environmental Achievement by the Chamber of Shipping of America for operating a total of 68 years in environmental excellence.

Horizon Pacific was honored for 22 consecutive years, Horizon Reliance for 21 years, Horizon Enterprise and Horizon Spirit each at 11 years, and MV Marjorie C for 3 years of environmental excellence.

“These awards celebrate the dedication to environmental excellence of our seafarers and the company personnel ashore who operate their vessels to the highest standards” said Kathy Metcalf, President of CSA. “We celebrate these positive achievements and the critical contributions the maritime industry makes to the domestic and global economies while operating their vessels in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. Safe and environmentally responsible operations is a culture fully embraced by the maritime industry as a whole and as evidenced by the performances of the award recipients recognized.”
