Osterwald appointed as Managing Director for Leschaco Malaysia

The Leschaco Group announces the appointment of Jens Osterwald as the new Managing Director for Leschaco (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. He will assume his new role in Malaysia on September 1, 2024.

Jens began his professional career in 2005 with a three-year dual study program at Leschaco's headquarters in Bremen. He then worked for two years as a sales representative in the tank container department. In 2010, he moved to Leschaco Korea Ltd. in Seoul, where he held various management positions, most recently as General Manager Warehousing & Contract Logistics until 2017.

In 2017, Jens broadened his experience by joining Logwin Air + Ocean Korea Ltd. in Seoul as Managing Director. Returning to Germany in 2022, he assumed the role of Managing Director for the local country organization at Crane Worldwide Logistics Germany in Frankfurt. Most recently, he served as Director of Contract Logistics at the same company.

Jens is a Senior Manager with 20 years of hands-on experience and has demonstrated the ability to lead diverse teams to success in highly competitive markets. His wide-ranging knowledge of air and ocean freight, trucking, projects, as well as warehousing and contract logistics, will be vital to the further expansion of our presence in the region."

Jens' return to Leschaco emphasises the company's commitment to attracting, developing and retaining top talent to drive operational excellence and growth within the organisation.
