OmniTRAX,  the fastest growing railroad in North America and an affiliate of The Broe Group, has promoted two key executives that have helped fuel the company’s explosive growth. Sergio Sabatini was named President and Gord Anutooshkin was named Chief Operating Officer by the OmniTRAX Board of Directors, effective immediately. Sabatini reports to OmniTRAX CEO Kevin Shuba and Anutooshkin reports to Sabatini.

“Sergio and Gord have played vital roles in our record-setting growth, the repositioning of our rail assets and the industry-leading efficiency that has positioned OmniTRAX for sustained success. Their Class 1 experience and comprehensive railroad backgrounds have served our team very well and helped make OmniTRAX one of the safest and most efficient rail operating companies on the continent,” Shuba said.
Sabatini was previously the Chief Operating Officer for OmniTRAX. Prior to joining the company in 2013, he served in multiple capacities throughout an 18-year career at Canadian Pacific Railway from field operations to risk management to strategic planning. A University of Winnipeg graduate, Sabatini also holds a MBA from Royal Roads University.
OmniTRAX Board Member Kiki Broe added; “OmniTRAX’s growth and efficiency have been extraordinary. The Broe family recognizes and values Sergio’s and Gord’s exceptional service and these expanded leadership roles are a key investment in the future of the company.”
“I am very proud to be a part OmniTRAX. I am humbled by the Board’s confidence in me and the entire leadership team. I look forward to continuing our journey. Our foundation is strong and poised for future growth.  Our operating expertise and service offering is best in class. What I am most proud of, however, is the dedicated and committed OmniTRAX team that has made the company what it is today,” said Sabatini.
Anutooshkin was most recently Senior Vice President of Operations for OmniTRAX, joining the company in 2014. He previously served in several management capacities in field operations and network management at Canadian Pacific Railway and will continue to leverage his 30 years of railroad experience to bolster OmniTRAX’s operational efficiency.
