MSC: Shipper owned containers subject to additional approvals

Effective immediately – Shipper Owned Containers with the following prefixes are subject to additional approvals prior to on-hire into MSC’s Fleet:

TDIU

HDXU

IRSU

BANU

FURU

ALXU

SBAU

XBIU

AGIU

KGNU

LCTU

PARU

PESU

XANU

No laden or empty unit with these prefixes is permitted on any MSC operated vessel without approval. Any container with the above-mentioned prefix loaded onto a vessel operated by MSC without approval will be offloaded immediately. Merchants will be liable for all costs associated including, but not limited to; Shifting, repositioning, drayage or any other costs incurred from removal by MSC or any related third party.
