BRC - BUNKER RECOVERY CHARGE - IMPORT MEXICO & CANADA TO USA & PUERTO RICO

EOS - EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CHARGE - TURKEY TO USA & SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO

GRI - GENERAL RATE INCREASE - EMED - EAST MEDITERRANEAN (EXCLUDING ISRAEL, SOKHINA), AND BLACK SEA INCLUDING EEA COUNTRIES TO USA & PUERTO RICO

ECA - EMISSION CONTROL AREA - RELAY TO USA & SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO

GRI - GENERAL RATE INCREASE

SCOPE: IMPORT ISC/ME - INDIAN SUBCONTINENT/MIDDLE EAST TO USA

Effective Date: May 1st, 2025, May 15th, 2025

Please be advised that the GRI - General Rate Increase announced for effective May 1st, 2025, has been postponed to May 15th, 2025, as below.

Cargo from: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia (only Dammam & Jubail), Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, Oman, United Arab Emirates

To: USA & CANADA West Coast

USD 1800 => per 20’ dry & reefer

USD 2000 => per 40’ dry & reefer

Note that GRI is also applicable for SOC & SOT.

BRC - BUNKER RECOVERY CHARGE

SCOPE: IMPORT MEXICO & CANADA TO USA & PUERTO RICO

Effective Date: June 1ST, 2025

This is to inform you that for IMPORT from MEXICO & CANADA to USA & PUERTO RICO, the BRC - Bunker Recovery Charge will remain at same levels for June 1st, 2025.

EOS - EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CHARGE

SCOPE: TURKEY TO USA & SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO

Effective Date: June 6th, 2025

Please be informed that Mediterranean Shipping Company is postponing the implementation of EOS - Emergency Operation Surcharge from:

Cargo from: Turkey

To: USA East Coast, Gulf, West Coast & San Juan, Puerto Rico.

EOS quantum as of last container gate-in date June 6th, 2025, applicable to all equipment types (Dry, Reefers, Special Equipment, SOC):

GRI - GENERAL RATE INCREASE

SCOPE: EMED - EAST MEDITERRANEAN (EXCLUDING ISRAEL, SOKHINA), AND BLACK SEA INCLUDING EEA COUNTRIES TO USA & PUERTO RICO

Effective Date: June 6th, 2025

Please be advised that Mediterranean Shipping Company has further postponed the implementation of GRI - General Rate Increase to June 6TH, 2025 last container gate in date.

Equipment type: 20’ & 40’ Dry/Reefer/SOC/OT.

From: Egypt, Lebanon, Ukraine, Novorossiysk, Georgia, Moldova ports to USA and San Juan Puerto Rico

USD 200 /Cntr all equipment types

From: Sirya ports to USA and San Juan Puerto Rico

EUR 200/Cntr all equipment types

Please contact your MSC local agent for queries related to EEA port pairs not included in this announcement such as Bulgaria, Romania, Malta, Cyprus and Greece.

For your reference, EEA includes Member States of the European Union (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom) including their Outermost Regions(Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Reunion, Martinique, Mayotte and Saint-Martin (France), the Azores and Madeira (Portugal), and the Canary Islands (Spain)) + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland.

ECA - EMISSION CONTROL AREA

SCOPE: RELAY TO USA & SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO

Effective Date: June 1st, 2025

Please note the new ECA - Emission Control Area quantum as of June 1st, 2025, last container gate in date.
