MSC GRI announcements effective April 1, 2021

MSC announced the following General Rate Increase (GRI) effective April 1st , 2021 as below.

From Middle East/India Sub-Continent to USA

Cargo from: Saudi Arabia (only Dammam & Jubail), Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, Oman, United Arab Emirates, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives

To: USA and Puerto Rico:

  • USD 500 per 20' Equipment
  • USD 600 per 40' Equipment
  • USD 600 per 40'HC Equipment

Reefers and SOC & SOT are subject to the announced increase.

From Australia & New Zealand to USA & Puerto Rico

Effective April 1st, 2021 a General Rate Increase (GRI) will be applicable for all DRY and REEFER cargo ex. AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND to USA & Puerto Rico:

  • USD 300 per 20DV & 20’ Reefer
  • USD 500 per 40DV/HC & 40’ Reefer

From USA to WCSA 

From: United States 

To: Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Bolivia 

  • USD 300 per 20' Equipment  
  • USD 500 per 40' Equipment 

From USA to LATAM (ECSA / CAM&CAR)

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Co. (USA) Inc. has filed and will implement a GRI with below quantum, scope and effective date from USA ports to EAST COAST SOUTH AMERICA, CENTRAL AMERICA and CARIBBEAN ports:

Effective April 1st, 2021: Please be advised MSC Mediterranean Shipping Co. (USA) Inc. has filed and will implement a GRI with below quantum, scope and effective date from USA ports to EAST COAST SOUTH AMERICA, CENTRAL AMERICA and CARIBBEAN ports:

USA GULF PORTS TO EAST COAST SOUTH AMERICA / CENTRAL AMERICA / CARIBBEAN PORTS

  •  $200 - per 20' Dry
  •  $300 - per 40' Dry
