MSC GRI and PSS updates, effective June 15th, 2025

GRI – General rate increase

Scope: Import - ISC/ME - Indian subcontinent/Middle East to USA

Effective Date: June 15th, 2025

Please be advised that Mediterranean Shipping Company has filed and will implement the following GRI - General Rate Increase effective June 15th, 2025, as below.

Cargo from: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Middle East (Saudi Arabia (only Dammam & Jubail), Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, Oman, United Arab Emirates)

To: USA EAST COAST / USA GULF COAST / SAN JUAN

USD 1500 => per 20’ dry & reefer
USD 1500 => per 40’ & 45’ dry & reefer

Kindly note that the above mentioned GRI is on top of June 1st, 2025, GRI.

Note that GRI is also applicable for SOC & SOT.

PSS – Peak season surcharge

Scope: Far East to USA

Effective Date: June 15th, 2025

Please be advised that Mediterranean Shipping Company has filed and will implement the following PSS - Peak Season Surcharge effective June 15th, 2025, with the following quantum and effective date for all shipments as below.

Cargo from: Far East
To: USA
Dry & Reefer cargoes:
USD 3200 x 20’
USD 4000 x 40DV
USD 4000 x 40HC
USD 5064 x 45’

Note that PSS is also applicable for SOC & SOT.
