MSC ECS scope: US to Liberia 

May 13, 2021

Due to the current severe congestion in Monrovia, MSC will introduce an Emergency Congestion Surcharge (ECS) effective JUNE 14th 2021 applicable to all equipment types, from USA & Puerto Rico to Liberia as follows:

The ECS is to be paid by the freight paying party. This charge has always to be manifested as Prepaid/elsewhere; NO COLLECT payment allowed.
