MSC cooperation changes with Zim

Jan 28, 2022

MSC announced upcoming changes in relation to current strategic cooperation with ZIM on a number of trades.

The slot swapping agreement between ZIM and the 2M alliance partners on the Asia - Mediterranean and Pacific North-West (Asia - Canada) trades will end with effect from 1 April 2022. ZIM will no longer be a partner on these networks and all the services will instead be operated by the 2M partners. The 2M network will remain unchanged.

See below the impacted MSC services on these two trades:

ZIM and the 2M alliance partners are working on an extension of the existing cooperation on the Asia - US East Coast trade, subject to regulatory approvals.
