OVW - Overweight Surcharge

SCOPE: IMPORT INDIAN SUBCONTINENT/MIDDLE EAST TO USA (ISC/ME)

Effective date August 10th, 2024

Please be advised that Mediterranean Shipping Company has filed and will implement the following Overweight Surcharge (OVW) effective August 10th, 2024, with the following quantum and effective date for all shipments as below.

Cargo from: IPAK (India / Pakistan / Sri Lanka / Bangladesh / Maldives) & MIDDLE EAST (Bahrain / Iraq / Kuwait / Oman / Qatar / United Arab Emirates / Saudi Arabia (Dammam & Jubail only))

To: TO USA EAST COAST / USA GULF COAST / SAN JUAN

• USD 300 x 20’DV if cargo gross weight exceeds 18MT

Note that OVW is also applicable for SOC & SOT.

PSS - Peak Season Surcharge
