MOL reinforces a regional presence at Singapore Maritime Week

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. has concluded a highly successful week at Singapore Maritime Week (SMW) 2026, bringing together customers, partners and industry peers through a series of engagements. From President and CEO Tamura’s participation in the opening panel to MOL’s first-ever dedicated exhibition booth and the logo launch event for its joint venture with PSA, MOL underscored the Group’s strong regional presence and longstanding relationships across the maritime ecosystem.

President and CEO Tamura took part in the opening panel session of SMW, joining fellow industry leaders in a CEO level discussion on what it now takes to succeed in a rapidly changing maritime landscape. The panel explored which disruptions represent short-term challenges and which demand long-term structural transformation, addressing strategic investment priorities, emerging risks, sustainable growth, and leadership mobilization to empower the workforce of the future.

MOL’s first dedicated exhibition booth at SMW

This year marked MOL’s first participation with a dedicated exhibition booth at SMW, providing an active platform to host customers and partners from across the maritime and logistics industries. The booth served as a central meeting point for MOL group’s various business units, fostering valuable discussions and cross sector engagement throughout the week.

Logo unveiling for MOL ACE-PSA Terminal Company

On the opening day of SMW, MOL's President and CEO Tamura together with PSA's Group CEO Mr. Ong Kim Pong unveiled the name MOL ACE-PSA Terminal and new corporate logo of MOL’s joint venture PCC terminal company with PSA. The launch event was attended by distinguished guest of honor Mr. Loh Khum Yean, Chairman of Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA). Senior leadership from MOL, including Kenji Kosugi, Executive Officer responsible for the Vehicle Transport Business, was also in attendance

Building on the strong momentum from SMW, MOL looks forward to continuing meaningful dialogue with stakeholders, strengthening partnerships, and advancing business synergies in line with its regional strategy under its Corporate Management Plan “BLUE ACTION 2035”, thereby contributing to the sustainable growth and transformation of the global maritime industry.
