MOL pledges support for those affected by Volcanic eruption on Luzon Island, Philippines

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. today announced that the company has pledged to contribute US$10,000 in cash to aid the victims of the recent eruption of the Taal Volcano and assist with reconstruction of the disaster-stricken areas. The MOL Group has also begun to solicit donations from group members to fund relief efforts.

MOL Group businesses have been supported from the seafarers, their families and friends from the Philippines, and has been deeply involved in the nation in various fields including the operation of the maritime university and the group’s dry bulkship operation control center.
The MOL Group sincerely hopes that everyone who suffered during this disaster will be able to return to normal life as soon as possible.
