Medical cargo traffic at Domodedovo exceeded the level of 2019 by 20%

Aug 06, 2021

In June, 580 tons of medicines, medical equipment and vaccine were transported through Moscow Domodedovo Airport, a 9% year-to-year increase compared to the same period of 2019. Herewith, almost 70% of cargo was transported within Russia.

In six months of 2021, the air harbor handled 4,000 tons of medical cargo that is 20% higher than the level of 2019. It is interesting that before the pandemic, the traffic flow in the reporting period was distributed almost evenly between international and domestic airlines.

Domodedovo Cargo is one of the largest international cargo terminals in Russia. The production capacity per day reaches about 500 tons.
