Maersk secures large Brazilian contract

Maersk Supply Service has entered into a three-year contract with the Brazilian energy company Petrobras for three of the shipping company's L-class anchor-handling vessels 

- Maersk Leader, Maersk Launcher and Maersk Lancer. With this, the shipping company now has twelve ships deployed on the Brazilian and Latin American markets.

"We are pleased with the trust that Petrobras has once again shown us, and we look forward to continuing our positive collaboration", says Rafael Thome, CEO of Maersk Supply Service Brazil. Maersk Supply Service is listed as one of the four subsidiaries, which AP Møller Maersk genre will dispose of, as they do not fit into the company's future development. The other companies are Svitzer, Maersk Training and Maersk Container Industry.
