Linxens IoT Solutions launches a large program for sustainable IoT labels to deeply transform supply chain

Jan 02, 2025

Linxens IoT Solutions proudly unveils an ambitious program to deeply transform logistics thanks to its innovative smart label technology. The program aims to significantly reduce environmental impact while delivering advanced solutions for logistics and data analysis, helping companies to comply with regulatory requirements and addressing ESG reporting targets such as EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

Driving Sustainability in IoT
With a strong commitment to sustainability, Linxens’ autonomous labels are designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the logistics sector. These labels enable track-and-trace services, functioning seamlessly both indoors and outdoors. Key applications include efficient inventory management, enabling precise counting and organization within defined areas, and global tracking solutions to monitor device locations with customizable precision, anywhere in the world.

Innovative Manufacturing and Design
Linxens has leveraged its extensive manufacturing expertise to produce millions of high-performance labels over the years. Key features of the new labels include:

  • Ultra-thin design: Less than 5 mm in thickness with standard dimensions of 10x15 cm.
  • Customizable printing: Labels can be personalized with customer-specific information.
  • Eco-friendly materials: Constructed using bio-sourced plastics and specialized paper.
  • Recyclable structure: Optimized for recycling with a layered architecture.

The electronics within these labels are engineered for minimal power consumption, ensuring energy efficiency. The integration of energy harvesting technology represents a leap forward in achieving autonomous IoT operations.

Versatile Networks for every environment and purpose

The program includes all types of networks, including outdoor and indoor needs as well as different levels of precision in tracking, for instance:

  • Linxens labels are leveraging Sigfox 0G technology, developed in collaboration with UnaBiz and NXP® Semiconductors, tailored for cost-efficient use cases
  • smart labels integrating Wirepas technology for specific indoor high-precision applications,
  • smart labels integrating satellite connection for tracking everywhere in the world, that have been recognized as an Innovation Award Honoree at CES 2025.

“Our years of expertise in electronic assembly and converting processes have allowed us to develop a product that meets the demands of today’s markets while addressing environmental concerns,” said Laurent Coussonnet, Linxens IoT Solutions. “By combining innovative design with a commitment to sustainability, we are convinced Linxens IoT Solutions is paving the way for greener and smarter IoT solutions with huge impact for the whole industry
