Lineage, one of the world’s leading temperature-controlled industrial REITs and integrated solutions providers, announces the ongoing development of a new facility in the Fischereihafen, located in Bremerhaven, Germany. This new facility is expected to have a footprint of over 200,000 square feet– equivalent to nearly four football fields - and support the demands of its customers in the frozen food sector.
Situated strategically within the heart of the food industry at Fischereihafen, the new Bremerhaven facility is expected to have direct access to the quay, to facilitate seamless movement of food products to and from the site. With a focus on customer-centric solutions, the site expects to offer integrated solutions such as freight forwarding and value-added services.
“We are delighted to announce the ongoing development of our latest facility in Bremerhaven, which underscores Lineage's commitment to bolstering our customers' global supply chains,” said Harld Peters, President of Lineage Europe.

Frank Wehlau, recently appointed as Managing Director Germany at Lineage, said: “The
build of our facility in the Fischereihafen is aimed at allowing us to effectively address the needs of our customers, extending not only to retailers but also to food producers and suppliers who seek proximity to their end customers.”
The planned Bremerhaven facility is expected to form part of Lineage’s network of over 450 strategically located facilities worldwide and is expected to build on Lineage’s entry into the Germany market in 2021 with the acquisition of the Kloosterboer group. The facility, which is designed to include over 40,000 European pallet positions, is expected to be completed by December 2024.
OL International Holdings LLC announced the transition of company President and CEO Alan Baer to Executive Advisor and appointment of Carrie Murphy King as CEO, effective July 1, 2026.
