Kröner Medizintechnik is new business partner of BARIG

Mar 16, 2021

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the safety and hygiene concepts for air traffic, that have already been successfully introduced since the beginning of 2020, the Board of Airline Representatives in Germany (BARIG) is expanding its business partnerships. With the new section “Health Care,” the association creates an additional opportunity for the more than 100 national and international airlines, that are members of BARIG, to stay informed about this topic and to get advice and special expertise in this field. BARIG’s first “Health Care” business partner is the renowned medical services provider Kröner Medizintechnik. The company, which is based in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, has more than 25 years of expertise in consulting and supporting facilities such as medical practices, therapy centers, hospitals, and universities.

“Already since the beginning of the pandemic, airlines and airports have been developing effective hygiene concepts, which they are constantly refining to protect passengers and employees. Thus, the air transport sector is well prepared when the recovery of travel will set in,” BARIG Secretary General Michael Hoppe states. “Thanks to the expansion of the BARIG business partner network by the ‘Health Care’ section, airlines now have a further contact partner available with Kröner Medizintechnik.”

“We look forward to dialog with the airline representatives. We can assist them in a wide range of areas if required, such as medical face masks, air purification based on plasma technology, or COVID-19 rapid tests for employees and passengers,” says Peter Kröner, CEO of Kröner Medizintechnik.
