Jviation, a Woolpert company, opens new office in California, extends work on West Coast

Mar 08, 2022

The office will enable Jviation and Woolpert to expand their delivery of integrated AEG services to additional U.S. airports.

Jviation, a Woolpert Company, has opened a new office at 1300 Eastman Ave., Suite 214, in Ventura, Calif. The office will extend Jviation’s airport planning, design and construction management work on the West Coast and augment the integrated architecture, engineering and geospatial (AEG) services provided by Woolpert and its family of companies. This is Woolpert’s third office in California, complementing a Jviation location in San Jose and the San Rafael headquarters of the recently acquired eTrac, a Woolpert Company.

Woolpert’s long history of providing leading AEG services to airports and air bases worldwide amplifies the multidisciplinary, aviation-focused skill set of Jviation, which joined Woolpert in 2020. Woolpert Senior Vice President JD Ingram said this office will enable Jviation and Woolpert to better support their expanding aviation clientele in California and surrounding states.

“Airports are like small cities, and they require the same support—from expert facilities planning to transportation engineering to stormwater drainage to GIS and everything in between,” Ingram said. “Over the last couple of years, we have been strategically incorporating the capabilities from both our companies to ensure our aviation clients benefit from combined best practices, a huge and talented staff, and access to the latest technologies. We’re looking forward to expanding that work to some great clients out West.”
