JBF Consulting announces webinar on the hidden cost of inaction for transportation and fleet leaders

Jan 20, 2026

JBF Consulting announced that it will host a live webinar titled “The Hidden Cost of Inaction: What Aging Fleets and Deferred Decisions Are Really Costing You,” taking place Tuesday, Jan. 27 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM ET.

As transportation costs continue to rise and fleet assets age, many organizations are facing increasing pressure from fragmented systems, siloed teams, and delayed investment decisions. The upcoming webinar will explore how these challenges compound over time and how shippers can take a more integrated, execution-focused approach to improve performance and financial outcomes.

The session will feature Tara Buchler, Principal, Strategy at JBF Consulting, and Jai Shahpuri, Business Development Leader at KSAP, who will share real-world insights on unifying planning, routing, and maintenance while balancing private fleet operations with carrier partners.

During the webinar, Buchler and Shahpuri will address:

  • The most significant cost pressures facing modern transportation fleets
  • The hidden impact of fragmentation across systems, data, and organizational teams
  • Practical guidance for building an integrated, fleet-aware routing and execution layer
  • How to create a defensible ROI and business case for transportation technology investment

Attendees will also gain a structured framework to evaluate Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Fleet as part of a broader, end-to-end transportation strategy.

“Too often, organizations underestimate the cost of standing still,” said Buchler. “Rising costs and disconnected systems quietly erode margins and service levels. This session is about giving leaders a practical path forward; one that connects strategy, execution, and measurable ROI.”
