J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. announced today the first group of trucking professionals to complete the J. J. Keller Certified Transportation Regulatory Expert (CTRE™) Program, an instructor-led credentialing curriculum focused on real-world application of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) and audit preparation.
The CTRE Program is built for professionals responsible for FMCSA compliance, fleet operations and commercial driver oversight. It includes a five-day, in-person training experience at J. J. Keller’s Neenah, Wisconsin, corporate campus, featuring small-group instruction, live drills and tabletop exercises based on audit models. The program concludes with a final exam, which participants must pass to earn their J. J. Keller CTRE credential.
“Safety and compliance leaders in the transportation industry are being asked to make high-stakes decisions quickly, often with audits, investigations and litigation risk looming in the background,” said Dustin Kufahl, vice president of consulting and training services at J. J. Keller. “We designed our CTRE program to help fleet professionals move beyond memorizing regulations to applying the FMCSRs with confidence in real operating conditions. In short, earning this certification helps to significantly reduce risk.”
Professionals Completing the J. J. Keller CTRE Program: March 2026
The following professionals completed the CTRE in-person program the week of March 2, 2026. Their next step is to take the J. J. Keller CTRE final exam in the 15 days following the program. Successful completion of the exam will result in these individuals earning their CTRE credential.
“We congratulate all of the program participants,” said Kufahl. “It’s a pretty intensive week of learning, but that’s what makes the CTRE credentialing so valuable.
“I’d also like to thank the participants for their dedication to safety and compliance and for sharing their experiences with their peers. It’s an interactive learning environment, and we believe the business connections they make during the CTRE program will last long after the program is completed.”
