Interstate Cold Storage (ICS), a leading provider of cold storage warehousing, has announced the addition of three new pallet jacks to its Columbus II facility. This equipment investment is part of ICS’s commitment to safety, optimizing efficiency and enhancing service for customers and partners.
“These new pallet jacks will improve material handling, helping our team move products more swiftly and accurately,” says Don Chambers, ICS director of operations. “Little details can make a big difference, and this equipment upgrade will be crucial for maintaining our operational excellence. We are excited to put these new tools to work for our customers.”
Chambers emphasized that these upgrades will not only streamline daily operations but will also support ICS’s broader goal of continuous improvement across its five facilities in Ohio and Indiana.
Based in Fort Wayne, Ind., Interstate Cold Storage has two facilities in the city, as well as two in Columbus and one in Napoleon, Ohio.
For five decades, ICS has offered cold storage warehousing solutions to customers, including services such as quick-freezing, space guaranteed programs and more.
The company is currently recognized among the top 20 largest North American refrigerated warehousing companies by the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses.
