Apr 01, 2026

Schneider Vice President of Intermodal Network Management Angela Prill has been selected as a Top Woman to Watch in Trucking by the Women in Trucking Association (WIT) for her success in driving measurable value and flexible solutions for shippers. In her 15 years at Schneider National, Inc. (NYSE: SNDR), a premier multimodal provider of transportation, intermodal and logistics services, Prill’s strategic judgment and financial insights have helped customers adapt to solve supply chain challenges.

Her contributions to Intermodal network management ensure shippers benefit from a more efficiently planned network, which is especially critical as supply chains continue to face pressure for speed and increased visibility.

Delivering flexible, reliable Intermodal solutions

The Top Women to Watch recognition is a widely respected supply chain award honoring exceptional women who are making a lasting impact in the transportation industry. Throughout her career, Prill has empowered Schneider to deliver more agile, tailored services that directly benefit both the business and its customers.

“Angela brings a rare blend of financial rigor and strategic insight to offer our Intermodal customers flexible solutions, developed through collaboration, that unlock value,” said Schneider Senior Vice President and General Manager of Intermodal Michael Baumgardt. “Her leadership has been instrumental in increasing ROI and driving results that also improve service. This recognition is well-earned.”

Prill’s recent accomplishments include:

  • Playing a key role in developing custom shipper solutions, including the implementation of Schneider’s Fast Track Intermodal service, an offering designed specifically for shippers with time- and service-sensitive freight.
  • Driving initiatives to increase automation and optimize Schneider’s Intermodal planning tools. This enables faster, more flexible responses to volume and capacity shifts.
  • Translating financial insights into operational improvements to help Intermodal customers manage costs and tackle the root causes of inefficiencies.
  • Empowering associates and advancing industry excellence

Beyond her operational achievements, Prill is a dedicated advocate for women’s advancement in the workplace through the Schneider Women’s Network, serving on its Individual Development Plan Committee. Her mentorship and advocacy have created pathways for other women to grow and thrive in their careers, cementing her as a role model who is shaping the future of the trucking industry.

“I feel a responsibility to ensure women see real opportunities to step into roles like mine,” said Prill. “By helping people find a path to grow their skills, I'm giving back and fostering an environment where innovation is not only possible but encouraged.”

Looking ahead, Prill’s focus for 2026 is helping to expand Schneider’s Intermodal services and find new ways to utilize company technology and offerings for customers. Under Prill’s direction, Schneider Intermodal is expanding automation and tools that make Intermodal more efficient for shippers.
