ICTSI Subic handles support cargo for Mindoro oil spill response

Subic Bay International Terminals (SBITC), International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI) business unit operating the New Container Terminals 1 and 2 at the Port of Subic, facilitated the safe and timely handling of the remotely operated vehicle (ROV) Hydros in preparation for transport to Oriental Mindoro. The ROV, along with other support equipment, were loaded on the anchor handling vessel Pacific Valkryie and will be deployed to assist in the ongoing oil containment and recovery operations of the oil spill from a tanker that sunk in the waters of Mindoro.
