IBA strengthens technical leadership team with two senior promotions

Mar 17, 2026

IBA, the leading aviation intelligence and advisory company, announces two senior promotions within its Technical and Asset Management business, alongside the forthcoming retirement of Technical Director Paul Brooker at the end of March 2026.

Denis Brailsford has been promoted to Head of Technical and Asset Management. Since joining IBA in 2021, Denis has successfully led the Asset Management team, delivering strong operational performance and growth across the business. In his expanded role, he will oversee the Technical and Asset Management departments, further strengthening integration across IBA’s service offering and enhancing the value delivered to clients.

Additionally, Ross Armour has been promoted to Head of Technical Services. Ross has played a central role in the success of IBA’s technical management operations, frequently leading multiple complex projects across consulting, remarketing and portfolio engagements. In his new role, he will focus on further developing and expanding IBA’s Technical Services practice to support clients navigating fleet transitions, lease events and asset lifecycle management.

After more than 13 years with IBA, Paul Brooker will retire from his role as Technical Director at the end of March 2026. Since joining the company in 2013, Paul has played a pivotal role in the growth of IBA’s Technical Management Services department, contributing across managed portfolio activity, remarketing engagements, consulting assignments and valuation projects. Paul will continue to support IBA on selected projects, ensuring continuity and access to his considerable experience.

Gerry Gualtieri, Chief Executive Officer of IBA, said: “I would like to thank Paul for his outstanding contribution to IBA over the past 13 years. His technical expertise, leadership and commitment to our clients have helped shape the strength and reputation of our business today. While we’ll certainly miss him day to day, we’re very pleased that he’ll continue to work with us and share his expertise after a well-earned break.”

“I would also like to congratulate both Denis and Ross on their deserved promotions. Both are highly respected leaders within the organisation, and these promotions reflect not only their individual talents, but also our confidence in the continued growth of IBA’s technical and asset management capabilities.”
