Hyster-Yale Materials Handling earns bronze sustainability medal from EcoVadis

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling announces it has earned a Bronze medal in the EcoVadis sustainability assessment, marking its third consecutive year of participation. The EcoVadis rating is a sustainability assessment that evaluates a company’s performance in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Compared to 2024, Hyster-Yale increased its rating in each of those four categories, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to responsible business practices.

Compared to 2024, Hyster-Yale increased its rating in each of those four categories, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to responsible business practices.

Every year, EcoVadis recognizes eligible companies that complete the assessment, which measures the quality of a company’s sustainability management system through their policies, actions and results. EcoVadis employs strict and well-developed scoring guidelines applied to each assessment by expert analysts. The score allows companies to benchmark against their industry peers as well as define the company’s overall sustainability performance in absolute terms.

The ratings have been applied to more than 150,000 companies across over 250 industries and 185 countries. Hyster-Yale improved its total score from the previous year by four points, enough to place in the 77th percentile of all companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide.
