Georgia Ports Empty Container Routing Changes

May 12, 2022

Effective Thursday, May 12, 2022, the Georgia Ports Authority will resume empty container receiving for the following shipping lines and container types:

  • ZIM: 20DR – Resume Garden City Terminal.

Below shipping lines and container types are restricted:

  • CMA: 40DR – Empty return to ITS ConGlobal, 124 Prosperity Dr., 31408. Please note the updated return location.
  • CMA: 20DR – Empty return to ITS ConGlobal, 321 Grange Rd., 31408.

All other types of equipment for these shipping lines may be returned to the Port of Savannah’s Garden City Terminal.

Drivers who have questions should reach out to the ocean carriers for more information.
