Gebrüder Weiss announced a five-year undergraduate scholarship program renewal with Rutgers Business School (Rutgers). The scholarship relationship began in 2020, when Gebrüder Weiss North America pledged a $25,000 gift to the Rutgers University Foundation. The scholarship is designed to foster diverse talent and remove financial barriers to higher education and is designated for students who plan to have careers in supply chain and logistics.

“We launched our scholarship program at Rutgers to open doors to supply chain careers, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the passion, talent, and ambition of each recipient,” says Mark McCullough, CEO of Gebrüder Weiss North America. “We look forward to continuing our relationship with Rutgers and investing in the supply chain leaders of the future.”

The 2025 Gebrüder Weiss Supply Chain Leadership Scholarship recipients are Gabriel Godoi De Lima, Jun Pak, and Nikhil Walia. Gabriel is a junior double majoring in Supply Chain Management and Marketing. Jun is a junior in the Honors College, majoring in Supply Chain Management with a concentration in Business Analytics. Nikhil, who recently graduated, earned a double major in Supply Chain Management and Marketing. Gebrüder Weiss has committed $5,000 per year over the next five years to support supply chain management students at Rutgers.

"Receiving the Gebrüder Weiss Supply Chain Leadership scholarship is a tremendous honor and a meaningful recognition of my journey and passion for supply chain management. This support inspires me to keep learning and growing both personally and professionally. I am truly grateful to Gebrüder Weiss for believing in me and investing in the future of supply chain leaders," says Nikhil Walia.

Rutgers Business School’s Supply Chain Management Undergraduate program is one of the top five programs in North America, and number one among Big Ten schools, according to Gartner Rankings in 2024. The undergraduate Supply Chain Management major provides a mix of comprehensive knowledge and technical skills relevant to supply chain roles. The school has a strong focus on career placement, and 82% of Rutgers Supply Chain Management students accept job offers before they graduate.

“Our Supply Chain Management program is full of talented students set to become the next generation of supply chain leaders. Support from partners like Gebrüder Weiss helps empower them to reach their goals,” says Lei Lei, Dean of Rutgers Business School.

Full-time undergraduate students enrolled at Rutgers Business School may apply for this scholarship by submitting the university-approved financial aid form.  The application period for the Gebrüder Weiss scholarship opens each year in November, and Rutgers announces the awards in early January. Each year through 2030, students studying supply chain management will be selected by Rutgers as recipients.
