Gebrüder Weiss announced new enhancements to its import compliance and customs management services with the appointment of industry expert Justyna Marczyk as National Import Compliance Manager. The company has been growing strategically across the U.S. by making significant investments in cross-border trade; opening new regional offices, seaports, and warehouses; and expanding through acquisitions and key hires.

Marczyk brings over 16 years of experience in supply chain and logistics, specializing in import compliance, customs management, cross-border trade, and mitigating import/export risks. In her role at Gebrüder Weiss, Justyna sets up new import clients with everything they need from A to Z and provides daily support to existing clients managing supply chain shifts due to updates in tariffs and trade policies. She also has in-depth federal agency expertise, including the Food and Drug Administration, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Prior to joining Gebrüder Wiess, Marczyk held key compliance and customs positions with DB Schenker, AIT Custom Brokerage, M.E. Dey & Co., and Ted L Rausch Co.

According to Gartner's Tariff Volatility Survey published in April 2025, 92 percent of supply chain leaders cited increased costs as their top tariff-related concern, while 75 percent identified slower demand as a leading risk.
