Esther Kromhout has been appointed as the new Director of NACO, a company of Royal HaskoningDHV. She will start her new position on 12 April.
NACO is a world-leading airport consultancy and engineering firm with over 70 years’ experience in airport planning and design and a track record of over 600 airports.
Royal HaskoningDHV Global Director Maritime & Aviation Craig Huntbatch on the appointment: “With Covid-19 the aviation market hit a turning point. To build back better Esther will be focusing on accelerating sustainability and making aviation smarter.”
Esther Kromhout added: “I very much look forward to leading NACO and working together with clientsand partners on more data driven operation and design, and future-proofing airports.”
Esther Kromhout has been active in the aviation market for over 15 years, gaining experience in a wide variety of projects, cultures, and countries. This has included secondments at clients such as the Government of Gibraltar and the Aruba Airport Authority. In the 21 years that she has been with Royal HaskoningDHV, she has undertaken several managerial roles and a wide range of projects.
Besides NACO Director, Esther will also be Royal HaskoningDHV’s Business Unit Director Aviation encompassing InterVISTAS Consulting. She takes over from Paul Govaerts who decided to pursue his career outside the company.
