DSV and LATAM Cargo have complete the transport of 110 RKN C-Safe containers

Sep 08, 2020

The cargo originates from a customer in the pharmaceutical industry and was shipped from Amsterdam (The Netherlands) to Brazil (Brasilia airport) aboard three A350 aircraft flights.

The success of the operation confirms the high performance achieved by LATAM Cargo and the partnership with DSV. This type of special transport requires maintenance and monitoring throughout the flight and the containers need to be kept at 5ºC while the aircraft maintains its interior temperature between 15ºC and 25ºC.

It is also worth remembering that in 2017 LATAM Cargo Group became the first airline in the Americas to receive the CEIV Pharma certification from IATA (International Air Transport Association) for its expertise and control in the transport of pharmaceuticals.

Now with this transportation in partnership with DSV, the airline reaffirms itself has one of the safest options for this product in the region.
