DEA Chief joins as a Board Advisor to Overhaul

Jun 17, 2025

Overhaul, the industry leader in active supply chain risk management and intelligence, has appointed Anne Milgram, former Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Administrator and New Jersey Attorney General, to its Board. This addition comes at a critical time as Overhaul enhances its work to protect the global supply chain. This work has never been more vital as organized cargo theft in the U.S. has surged by 1,500% between 2022 and 2025.

Milgram brings invaluable public and private sector experience to Overhaul, having served as the DEA Administrator, New Jersey's Attorney General, and counsel to startups and Fortune 500 corporations. From 2021 to 2025, Milgram served as Administrator of the U.S. DEA, where she led a global agency of over 10,000 personnel across 69 countries and managed a $3.8 billion budget. Her data-driven approach to law enforcement and extensive background in combating international organized crime and narcotics trafficking align perfectly with Overhaul’s mission to protect global supply chains. Under her leadership, the DEA reshaped its technology and built systems to deliver real-time intelligence to combat international criminal networks and global money laundering.

Milgram stated, “The global supply chain is under attack. Organized criminal networks are stealing an estimated $1 billion in cargo each year — and those numbers are rising. Protecting the supply chain has never been more urgent. It requires the strongest threat intelligence, close coordination with law enforcement, and the ability to connect the dots across complex global criminal networks. Overhaul is one of the few companies doing this work with the precision, scale, and sophistication the moment demands. After leading a global law enforcement agency and building cutting-edge data systems to combat international cartels, I see in Overhaul a rare opportunity to protect the supply chain by disrupting the criminal networks that use stolen cargo to fuel violence and drug trafficking in communities around the world.”

“Anne's distinguished career in law enforcement and her deep understanding of how global criminal networks operate make her an exceptional addition to our board,” said Barry Conlon, CEO and Founder of Overhaul. “Her unique insights will be invaluable as we continue to innovate to stay ahead of the rapidly evolving arms race with criminals and we are particularly excited about how Anne can strengthen our relationships with law enforcement agencies across the country and the world. As cargo theft reaches alarming levels, her expertise will help us advance solutions that better protect our clients.”

“Globalization and the rise of third-party logistics have opened new doors for organized criminal networks — making it easier to steal everything from electronics to food and consumer goods. Criminal networks are making billions doing it,” said Milgram. “To protect the supply chain and ensure companies can move their products safely, we need smarter, faster, and more connected solutions. That’s what Overhaul delivers: real-time intelligence, rapid response, and the ability to disrupt criminal operations before they cause harm.”
