Cosmatos transport refinery equipment to Thessaloniki Port

This challenging transport of heavy and outsized refinery equipment took months to organize while going through every detail and many visits to Thessaloniki Port to check feasibility and berthing options.

The Cosmatos Project Cargo Team, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Greece, managed to pull together a quite challenging transport from ex works till FOB onto a small chartered ferry of two heavy and outsized components:

BFW PRE HEATER                       :  21,70 m   x   4,43 m    x  4,63 m – 170 tons 

VERTICAL STEAM GENERATOR    :  24,30 m   x    6,37 m    x  6,47 m – 290 tons
