CMA CGM update on empty repositioning surcharge applying to Turkish exports

CMA CGM announced the evolution of the Empty Repositioning Surcharge (ERS) presently applying to Turkish exports:

The ERS applying to Reefer shipments from all Turkish ports is cancelled with immediate effect.

The ERS applying to Dry shipments from all Turkish ports remains in place as follows:

  • To Red Sea, the Middle East, Russia Far East, North East Asia, South East Asia, China and Hong Kong & Macau SAR: USD 100 per unit
  • To other destinations: USD 50 per unit
