CMA CGM PCS for Reefer cargo bound for Yantian, China

Jun 14, 2021

CMA CGM announced that the port of Yantian is currently experiencing congestion, with most reefer plugs already being occupied.

To ensure your reefer cargo remains in premium condition, CMA CGM recommends to contact your local CMA CGM representative to change the port of discharge/destination. Otherwise, they may be forced to divert your reefer cargo to alternative ports.

To cover the additional costs, CMA CGM will apply the following Port Congestion Surcharge (PCS):

  • Effective date: June 11th, 2021, loading date (Except from USA & territories, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Venezuela, Uruguay, Paraguay: July 21st, 2021, loading date)
  • From: Worldwide
  • To: Yantian
  • Cargo: Reefer
  • Amount: USD 1,250 per Reefer container
  • Payment: By freight payer
