CMA CGM named “Best Global Shipping Line” and “Best Shipping Line – Trans-Pacific” | 2025 Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain Awards

The CMA CGM Group, a global player in sea, land, air and logistics solutions, has been crowned Best Global Shipping Line for the fifth consecutive year, and Best Shipping Line – Trans-Pacific at the 2025 Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain Awards (AFLAS) last evening. Voted by industry stakeholders, customers, global shippers and readers of Asia Cargo News, the accolades highlight their strong confidence in CMA CGM as the preferred global and Trans-Pacific ocean carrier.

Operating a fleet of more than 650 vessels, the Group connects the world with over 270 dedicated shipping services that call at more than 420 ports across five continents.

In the Trans-Pacific trade, CMA CGM fully operates and deploys 78 vessels, transporting shipments through 21 services from Asia each week, providing an extensive coverage from Asia to North America East Coast and West Coast with competitive transit times.

In particular, the Eagle Express X (EXX) premium offering that makes weekly voyage from Shanghai to Los Angeles – berthing at CMA CGM owned terminal with its fast 11-day ocean transit – is designed for time-sensitive shipments. Additionally, shippers can leverage the EXX RailFlash to fast-track cargo shipments by rail from Los Angeles to Chicago, Memphis, Dallas, Kansas City and New York.

CMA CGM’s shipping network is complemented by a full suite of value-added offerings, ranging from moving delicate reefer shipments to oversized cargoes, as well as enhancing the security of containers to protect the most valuable cargoes.

Dedicated to the energy transition, the CMA CGM Group aims to achieve Net Zero Carbon by 2050. By 2029, the Group will have a fleet of 162 vessels ready to use low-carbon energies.
