CMA CGM Intermodal | Burkina Faso by rail via Abidjan - inland emergency surcharge - Aug 2025

Following recent operational constraints and congestion in Abidjan affecting cargo destined for Burkina Faso by rail and to ensure service continuity on the intermodal segment, CMA CGM Group wishes to inform you of the implementation of an Inland Emergency Surcharge as detailed below:

Effective Date: 10 August 2025 (Loading date) until further notice. US Shipments effective 1st September 2025

Scope:

• Applicable to all cargo bound for Burkina Faso via Abidjan
• Mode of transport Rail
• Quantum: € 700 per container
• Applicable when the intermodal segment is performed by the Carrier
• Same payment term as the rail move
