CMA CGM: Empty Equipment Imbalance and Handover charge in South Africa ports

Following the current situation in South African ports, resulting in a shortage of containers, CMA CGM informs its customers of the following Empty Equipment Imbalance & Handover Charge application:

Effective January 1st, 2024 (loading date) until further notice (January 15th, 2024 for US & territories)

From: All South African ports

To: All destinations

Cargo: 20' Dry

Amounts: USD 100 per TEU

Settlement: as per freight
