CMA CGM emergency PCS in Sydney, Australia

Due to a combination of factors including industrial action, we are now experiencing heavy congestion at Sydney terminals. This congestion has led to significant delays to our vessel schedules causing an increase in overall operational costs.

CMA CGM will therefore implement the following Emergency Port Congestion Surcharge [PCS] for cargo from / to Sydney until further notice as follows:

  • From / To worldwide
  • From / To Sydney, Australia
  • All cargo dry, reefer
  • Effective September 17th, 2020 (Vessel Loading/Discharge date), (October 10th, 2020 for US ports, FMC trade subject to filing)
  • Amount: USD 285 / TEU
  • Payment: Prepaid in addition to Ocean freight
