CharterDesk celebrates official launch at Air Cargo China

CharterDesk celebrated its official launch at transport logistic/Air Cargo China yesterday with a presentation and champagne.

“We are proud to declare the official start of a new era in aircraft chartering and leasing,” Emir Ozdabak, Managing Director of CharterDesk announced. “One that is built on structured, data-driven capacity sourcing and a managed pipeline of carefully vetted operators, giving clients faster, more reliable quotes tailored precisely to their requirements, along with complete operational visibility.”

Based in Hungary, CharterDesk has launched as a full-service charter partner, offering bespoke air cargo, passenger, private jet charters and ACMI/leasing solutions for customers worldwide. Its business model is the product of more than 25 years of in-depth experience across ground handling, airline planning, brokerage and GSA operations. CharterDesk addresses a growing demand for more responsive, transparent and accountable charter sourcing, particularly for time-critical, complex and specialist missions.

Today’s supply chain volatility, e-commerce growth, schedule-network gaps, rising demand for time-critical, outsize and project cargo, alongside aid/relief missions and growing defence logistics needs, are all pushing more volume toward ad-hoc charter. At the same time, clients are increasingly expecting tailor-made solutions and closer attention to their specific requirements, something that large players struggle to deliver under the weight of their current workloads. CharterDesk’s principle purpose is to give each charter the bespoke, hands-on focus it deserves.

“The reason for charters is often one of urgency, where every minute counts. So, customers are looking for speed, reliability, and, above all, someone they can trust to take full ownership for the operational side of sourcing, arranging, and delivering a solution. Yet, today’s processes can feel opaque, and complex due to fragmented accountability and varying levels of competence across the chain. And operational workflows relying on an unstructured mix of emails and phone calls, are not only slow but also carry the risk of errors and oversight,” Emir Ozdabak explains. “We established CharterDesk to combat precisely those pain points and remove all complexity by allocating a dedicated senior-level contact to each individual project. At CharterDesk, we only work with vetted operators and ensure transparency from the first call through to delivery. Our aim is simple: to provide tailored solutions via a trusted, accountable expert working with tech-based structure, who can explain the available options and quickly find the right aircraft fit for the particular mission.”

The company’s model combines global operator access with a single accountable point of contact, structured capacity sourcing and consistent vetting standards. Its Hungary base gives CharterDesk a central European position inside the EU’s legal and regulatory framework, supporting direct access to the European market and operator pool, while enabling international charter coverage across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, the Americas, and Africa.

In the air cargo segment, CharterDesk will support freight forwarders and logistics integrators, manufacturers and shippers (particularly in automotive, aerospace, oil and gas, and the pharmaceuticals industries), humanitarian and relief organisations, government and defence logistics teams, and airlines or GSAs requiring supplementary capacity. It has access to the full range of freighter types from narrowbody B737F and B757F for regional/express charters, to widebody B767F, B777F, or A330F for long-haul volume, B747F main-deck/nose-loaders for outsize shipments, and An-124 for special projects and heavy loads.

“We have a clear vision: To become the most trusted and agile charter partner in the market, redefining how charter capacity is sourced, managed, and delivered through expertise, technology, and global reach,” Emir Ozdabak summarises. “You can reach us at any time of day or night by phone or email for a quote and full support throughout the charter mission, from your initial enquiry through to wheels-down.”
