Chapman Freeborn and EngineStands.com complete time-sensitive engine stand delivery to Johannesburg

May 19, 2026

Chapman Freeborn, the global air charter specialist and part of Avia Solutions Group, has supported the time-sensitive delivery of a CFM56-7B engine stand to Johannesburg in cooperation with EngineStands.com, a global engine stand leasing provider.

The shipment, completed at the end of April, involved one CFM56-7B engine stand owned by EngineStands.com. The equipment was delivered from storage to the customer’s required location in Johannesburg.

The delivery required a quick and reliable logistics solution, as the cargo needed to reach Johannesburg within a short timeframe. Chapman Freeborn arranged the shipment ensuring access to suitable cargo capacity and supporting the timely movement of the equipment.

EngineStands.com provided the required engine stand, while Chapman Freeborn coordinated the air cargo solution. The project demonstrates how companies within Avia Solutions Group can work together to respond efficiently to customer requirements by combining specialist aviation equipment with cargo expertise.

“This delivery is a strong example of how collaboration within Avia Solutions Group enables us to respond quickly to customer requirements. By working with EngineStands.com we were able to support this time-sensitive shipment with a fast and cost-effective solution,” said Ben Cupidi, Aerospace Manager Europe at Chapman Freeborn.

“Having the right engine stand available is only one part of supporting the customer. In this case, close cooperation with Chapman Freeborn helped ensure that the equipment could be moved to Johannesburg quickly and reliably, demonstrating the value of working together,” said Hanna Lavinskaja, Head of EngineStands.com.

This successful delivery underlines how integrated expertise across Avia Solutions Group can support customers with efficient, reliable solutions for time-sensitive aviation logistics requirements.
