Cargo Transporters introduces an All IN package for drivers

Mar 17, 2021

Cargo Transporters, Inc., an asset-based regional and national carrier, today announced a new ALL IN compensation package for new and current single and team drivers as part of focus and to provide drivers with personal flexibility and financial control.

“Our new ALL IN pay package provides simplicity and transparency for new drivers considering a career at Cargo Transporters and gives all of our new and existing drivers a choice in how they are paid,” said Jerry Sigmon Jr, COO for Cargo Transporters. “It allows our drivers to count on higher pay per mile without the need to account for fluctuations in productivity or time off. We are pleased to be able to offer this program as part of our long-standing pledge to offer our drivers industry-leading pay, benefits, consistent miles and exceptional home time.”

The optional ALL IN program at Cargo Transporters is offered in addition to the company’s Mile Standard compensation package. The new package combines existing holiday and vacation pay, and a productivity bonus, with the driver’s base rate per mile. The effect is that drivers are paid a prorated amount each mile for holidays, vacations and the company productivity bonus in addition to ALL IN base pay rate. This option gives those drivers that select ALL IN, the control of receiving those funds up-front rather than a lump sum payment. The Mile Standard program continues to be offered. With Mile Standard, drivers can choose to receive the current base pay- with additional payments for holiday, vacation or productivity bonus.

The combined ALL IN rate is paid weekly based on a driver’s Rand McNally Practical Book mileage. The starting pay for the ALL IN PAY package will be $0.55 cents per mile for single drivers. ALL IN PAY rates have been adjusted for team drivers, and for drivers with more than 1 million miles and those with 10 and 20 years of service with the company.

The new ALL IN pay package at Cargo Transporters follows a pay increase for all company drivers that took effect at the beginning of 2021. Along with competitive pay, Cargo Transporters provides a benefits package that includes a 401(k) with company match, and health, dental, vision, life, and short- and long-term disability insurance.
