BYD denies report of pause on Mexico plant plans

Chinese automaker BYD said on Tuesday that it had not postponed "any decision" regarding its planned plant in Mexico, denying a Bloomberg report from earlier in the day.
Bloomberg had reported that BYD had tapped the brakes on scouting locations for the plant and that the company wouldn't announce the investment until after U.S. elections in November.
