Bolloré Logistics Americas appoints Saignat, new Vice President Airfreight

Bolloré Logistics announces the appointment of Nicolas Saignat as Vice-President Airfreight, Americas.

In this new role, Nicolas will oversee the development of air freight products, competitive procurement and the digitalization of solutions. He will work together with the sales and solutions teams to offer the company's customers a reliable and sustainable transport offer. Nicolas is based in Calgary, Canada and will report directly to Alexandre Yamada, Vice-President Solutions of Bolloré Logistics Americas.

His perspective from the service provider side combined with his in-depth knowledge of the airline industry, gives him a definite advantage. He will thus be able to offer solutions tailored to the specific needs of our customers for air freight in the Americas region,” said Alexandre Yamada, VP Solutions Americas.

Holder of a master's degree in Engineering and Management from the Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne, Nicolas has worked in the air transport industry for more than 20 years. His professional career has led him to work in Europe, Asia and North America. Before joining Bolloré Logistics, he was the Head of Commercial, Cargo at WestJet, the second largest airline in Canada. Before that, he was Vice President for Air France KLM in the USA, managing the trans-Atlantic joint venture jointly with Delta Airlines.
