BGS to provides aviation fuel to Ryanair at 4 airports, continuing 9-year partnership

Baltic Ground Services (BGS), a leading ground handling service company and a subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group, is extending its cooperation with Irish carrier Ryanair. For one year, BGS will supply aviation fuel for the airline at four airports across Europe, including a new cooperation at Kaunas International Airport in Lithuania. Under the contract, Ryanair's fuel supply will continue at Vilnius and Palanga airports in Lithuania and Ostrava International Airport in the Czech Republic.

BGS’s high-level performance, focus on safety standards, and ability to adapt to the client's needs allowed the company to secure the contract with Ryanair and extend their long-term cooperation, which started in 2016.

With the fleet of 612 aircraft, Ryanair is the largest airline group in Europe. The company began flying to Kaunas in 2004, and two years later, it announced the establishment of its base at the airport. With Kaunas Airport now part of the agreement, BGS enhances operational support for Ryanair, enhancing its presence in key European locations.

BGS supports Ryanair with efficient and seamless fuel supply operations across multiple stations at Vilnius (VNO), Kaunas (KUN), and Palanga (PLQ), as well as at Ostrava (OSR), Riga (RIX)and Tallinn (TLL) airports.
