BGS strengthens long-term partnership with Wizz Air across key Baltic stations

Apr 15, 2026

Baltic Ground Services (BGS) has strengthened its long-standing cooperation with Wizz Air across multiple stations in the Baltics.

The partnership covers aircraft fueling services at Tallinn (TLL), Vilnius (VNO), Kaunas (KUN), and Palanga (PLQ), where BGS supports Wizz Air’s operations. The cooperation builds on a relationship that dates back to 2011, when the first fuel supply agreements were signed between the companies.

Over the years, the partnership has expanded alongside Wizz Air’s growing presence in the region, with the airline continuing to develop its network from Lithuania, including the launch of new routes connecting Vilnius to destinations such as Tallinn, Helsinki, and Paris.

“Our long-term cooperation with Wizz Air reflects the consistency and reliability of our services across multiple stations,” said Vitalis Dudys, BGS Group Head of Commerce. “We value partnerships that develop over time, and we are pleased to continue supporting Wizz Air’s operations as it expands its network in the region.”

From Wizz Air’s side, the continued cooperation highlights the importance of stable operational partnerships in supporting network development and ensuring efficient daily operations.

“We are pleased to continue and further strengthen our cooperation with BGS across several Baltic airports,” said Salvatore Gabriele Imperiale, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air. “With over 24 routes operated in Lithuania, a fleet of three based aircraft in the country, and nine routes from Tallinn, the Baltic region represents a key market for Wizz Air. Reliable fueling services are essential to maintaining our operational efficiency and having a trusted and dependable partner like BGS is instrumental in supporting our continued growth in the region.”
