Atlantic Logistics promotes VanWey to manager of expedited services

Atlantic Logistics announces it has promoted Scott VanWey to manager of expedited services. VanWey will manage Atlantic Logistics rapidly growing and expanding expedited shipping services department. The team specializes in immediate handling and delivery of expedited deliveries and partners with its customers to ensure timely deliveries.

VanWey previously served as senior logistics specialist specializing in the Dry Van or Full Truckload Division. He joined Atlantic Logistics in 2021 after owning and managing VanWey Logistics. He previously held logistics and transport positions with Raven Transport, Cowan Systems and Arnold Transportation Services.

Scott VanWey

Before his logistics career, Scott worked as an education administrator where he planned, controlled and directed operations for a private school. VanWey earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of North Florida.

“We were very fortunate to have Scott join us in 2021 and bring his vast supply chain expertise with him,” said Rob Hooper, Jr, CEO of Atlantic Logistics. “Additionally, Scott has a keen sense of how our industry is trending according to commodity and seasonality. Having him oversee our Expedited Services was a natural fit and for his strengths and talents.”
