ATA adds to legislative affairs team

Today, the American Trucking Associations announced the hiring of Will Sehestedt as the association’s new director of legislative affairs.

“We are pleased to be able to add someone with Will’s experience and expertise to the ATA team,” said ATA Executive Vice President of Advocacy Bill Sullivan. “with a long track record of experience both on Capitol Hill and in the freight transportation industry, he will be a tremendous asset for ATA and its members.”

Prior to joining ATA, Sehesedt was vice president of government affairs at the Transportation Intermediaries Association and spent nearly a decade working for former Sen. Max Baucus (D-Montana).

“This is an important time for the trucking industry and I am excited to get to work on behalf of the millions of hardworking men and women who move our nation forward,” Sehesedt said.
