Arvato expands strategic footprint with new high-tech warehouse in Frankfurt

Aug 25, 2025

Arvato is further expanding its presence in Germany with the opening of a new 10,000 sqm high-tech logistics center in Frankfurt am Main. The new site supports Arvato’s long-term growth strategy and significantly enhances its capabilities to serve global hyperscalers, high-tech industries, and a broad range of industrial clients across Europe.

Located in one of Europe’s most dynamic logistics and data infrastructure hubs, the new facility responds to the growing demand for agile and secure supply chain solutions. With this investment, Arvato strengthens its presence in the Frankfurt region — a key corridor for cloud infrastructure, AI services and data center growth.

“Frankfurt has become one of Europe’s most important locations for hyperscalers and high-tech investments. With this new facility, we’re expanding our infrastructure to provide scalable, integrated logistics solutions that support our clients' growth,” says Thomas Becker, Head of GSA TECH at Arvato.

Strategic next step after ATC acquisition

The new Frankfurt site is part of Arvato’s broader strategic development in the data center logistics segment, following the acquisition of ATC Computer Transport & Logistics earlier this year. Located in close proximity to ATC’s main hub in Germany, the new facility creates synergies that enable full-service logistics for hyperscalers and cloud industry clients – from inbound and warehousing to white-glove last-mile delivery, installation and on-site services.

“The proximity of both sites enables us to combine the strengths of Arvato and ATC. We synchronize core logistics functions and create a fully integrated operational ecosystem with highly specialized personnel and comprehensive service capabilities. It’s a powerful setup that reflects the increasing complexity and speed of digital infrastructure projects,” says Becker.

Supporting growth in the digital economy

Offering warehousing and inventory management for IT infrastructure, rapid deployment of critical hardware, and value-added services such as staging, configuration and secure handling, the site plays a key role in supporting hyperscalers and high-tech deployment and helps clients meet demanding service level agreements, ensure uptime, and adapt quickly to changing needs.

Built according to the latest environmental and technological standards, the site features energy-efficient infrastructure, smart warehouse systems, and a scalable design prepared for future growth.
