Arvato announced the groundbreaking of its 11th operations center in the country with a ceremony held in Çayırova. “While we are continuing to expand our operational capabilities in Türkiye, the new site will significantly enhance Arvato’s storage and operational capacity for e- commerce and retail brands and open new potential for additional growth,” explains Umur Özkal, Managing Director Türkiye and UAE at Arvato.

A European-Standard Logistics Center

Developed from the ground up, the greenfield site is being built as a single-story, high-efficiency structure that meets European “Type A Big Box” logistics campus standards. The facility is designed to ensure efficiency and speed across all warehouse processes, including inbound handling, sorting, value-added services, inventory management, and outbound shipment.

High-Security Storage Infrastructure

The new hub exceeds standard storage solutions by offering a structure tailored to the individual needs of brands. Integrated features like."

"advanced security protocols, monitoring and access-control systems as well as specialized conditioned storage areas for different product segments ensure that products are managed safely, with full traceability, and under optimal conditions.

Sustainability and Employee Experience at the Core

Developed in line with Arvato’s global Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) vision, the new site combines high standards in environmental sustainability, operational efficiency, and employee well-being. The facility integrates a range of sustainable and people-focused innovations. It generates renewable energy through a rooftop integrated solar power plant and optimizes natural resource usage with an advanced rainwater harvesting system. Energy-efficient lighting and climate-control technologies significantly reduce the overall carbon footprint, while modern, ergonomic workspaces support a people-centric operations model that prioritizes comfort, well-being, and social connection.

Operations start in October 2026

The construction has already started, with full-scale operations targeted to begin in October 2026. “Through this strategic investment, Arvato aims to contribute to Türkiye’s growing potential as a modern logistics hub while further expanding the value-added services we provide to our business partners,” says Umur Özkal."
