Alliance Industrial Company opens Midwest division

Alliance Industrial Company is pleased to announce Cory Welper has joined as Managing Director of its new Midwest Division. Formerly of Bridge Industrial, Welper will oversee all industrial development, investment and construction for the Chicago-based Midwest Region, which will initially focus on development opportunities within the greater Chicago area with plans to expand to other Midwest markets.

In May 2021, Alliance Industrial launched in Houston with a focus on developing essential warehouse logistics and distribution space –in high demand and growing commercial markets as e-commerce rapidly expanded during COVID -19. The Midwest Region is Alliance Industrial's fourth strategic expansion outside of Texas.

"Cory brings outstanding expertise from his time at Bridge Industrial, along with deep-rooted connections and market knowledge across the Chicago region,” said Alliance Industrial Company Managing Director Chad Parrish. “We're thrilled to have Cory join our efforts to strengthen Alliance Industrial's footprint and enhance our development activity throughout the expanding Midwest markets. Securing proven industrial-sector leadership remains fundamental to our strategic expansion initiatives.”

Welper was previously Vice President of Investments for Bridge Industrial in Chicago, where he was responsible for sourcing new acquisition and development opportunities, overseeing construction, leasing and dispositions. Since 2020, he has been involved in the development of more the $1 billion in industrial projects, representing more than 5.5 million square feet across 10 projects. Additionally, Welper sourced and closed existing building acquisitions totaling $160M, representing 800K SF across 7 buildings. Welper earned a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin.
